Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for Knowlix Academy Services, including digital learning materials, mentorship, tutoring, and group sessions delivered remotely.

1) General Principles

We aim to be fair and transparent. Refund eligibility depends on the type of Service purchased, whether work has begun, and whether sessions or deliverables have been provided. Some Services involve immediate access to digital materials or time reserved with a mentor, which can affect refundability.

2) 7-Day Satisfaction Window for New Clients

For first-time clients, we may offer a 7-day satisfaction window on new engagements, starting from the purchase date. If you feel the Services are not a fit, you may request a refund within this period, subject to the conditions below.

  • The request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of purchase.
  • If sessions have already occurred, the used session value may be deducted.
  • If custom work has begun (e.g., bespoke study pack creation), time spent may be deducted.

3) Digital Materials and Downloadable Content

Digital materials may include guides, templates, workbooks, study packs, and other downloadable or viewable content. If digital content is delivered instantly or accessed, refunds may be limited because the content cannot be “returned.”

If you believe you received the wrong file, an incomplete delivery, or a corrupted file, we will make reasonable efforts to correct delivery issues. In such cases, replacement or correction is typically the first remedy.

4) 1:1 Sessions (Tutoring / Mentorship)

Sessions reserve time with a mentor. If you need to reschedule, please provide advance notice whenever possible. Late cancellations reduce our ability to offer that time slot to another learner.

  • Rescheduling: may be available based on availability and your package terms.
  • No-shows: sessions missed without notice may be considered delivered and are typically non-refundable.
  • Used sessions: completed sessions are non-refundable.

5) Group Sessions

Group sessions depend on coordination and capacity planning. If you cancel close to the start date, the seat may not be refillable. Therefore, refunds for group sessions may be limited once your seat is reserved and materials are released.

6) Packages, Bundles, and Subscriptions

Packages may include a combination of sessions and materials. If you request a refund after partial use, we may calculate a pro-rated amount, deducting the value of delivered sessions, completed work, and provided materials.

For subscription-style engagements (if offered), refunds typically apply only to the current billing period, and only for the unused portion, depending on what has already been delivered during that period.

7) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, we encourage contacting us first so we can investigate and resolve the issue. Filing an immediate chargeback may delay resolution and can restrict future access to Services until the dispute is settled.

8) Non-Refundable Situations

  • Services already delivered or sessions already completed.
  • Missed sessions without notice (no-shows).
  • Digital materials that have been delivered and accessed, unless required by law.
  • Requests made outside any stated eligibility window or package terms.
  • Outcomes not achieved due to lack of participation, incomplete assignments, or inconsistent practice.

9) How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, provide your purchase details (date, service type, and the reason for the request). We may ask clarifying questions to ensure we understand the situation and can propose the most appropriate resolution (refund, partial refund, credit, reschedule, or revised deliverables).

If a refund is approved, processing times may vary depending on the original payment method and financial institutions.

10) Updates to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in Services or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date indicates the most recent revision.
